Home→‘The Severn Bridge from Beachley’ with Tim Ryan and John Evans

Chepstow Archaeological Society aims to explore and understand the archaeology of Chepstow and the surrounding area and provides a focus for local people interested in its archaeology and history.

Formed in January 1996, the Society has a full and varied programme of talks, field visits, trips and hands-on archaeology covering all archaeological periods, from prehistoric through Roman and Medieval periods to the more recent industrial era.

We publish a regular newsletter for members and are noted for our relaxed, friendly and informal approach.

We meet for our indoor meetings on the first Thursday of every month from October to April at 7.30 pm at Chepstow Conservative Club, 10 Moor St, Chepstow NP16 5DD. Suggested parking for two hours is in the M&S Pay Car Park behind the Bus Station. There is also free parking in Welsh Street Car Park. Our outdoor program of visits then runs from May to September.
