Join us to celebrate 30 years of Chepstow’s Archaeological Society at our programme of events from 2-4 October 2026!

Free activities: Showing of “The Dig” on Friday 2 October (film about the Sutton Hoo excavation), free festival 10am – 3pm on Saturday 3 October in the Drill Hall, Chepstow with over 30 stands, including interactive activities suitable for adults and children, and a guided walk on Sunday 4 October. Lecture: renowned local archaeologist Professor Mark Horton will be giving an entertaining talk at 4pm on Saturday 3 October in the Drill Hall. Booking details to follow.
